3W Water Pouch Drink – Revisited
A few months ago I wrote an article on this new drink. It basically showed how an existing product can be taken and re-packaged to form a new product.
The water was packaged in a squeezy pouch pack, like you see Capri-sun doing. This would allow people to freeze the water and the packaging wouldn’t crack as the water expands etc.
Anyways, I reported that the product was being trialled in the 24hour Spar in Aberystwyth.
All the drinks have been sold by the looks of it as they’re no longer on the shelves but no more have been placed out on display. I did have a good look around the store and couldn’t find it, maybe I couldn’t find it and it was actually there but I certainly couldn’t…
Does this show that even if you re-package a product into something new, the competitive pressure in this market is still fierce?
- I did try and contact Alan Wendon about this product but it doesn’t look as if he’s getting my emails….
