Finding Your Way to the Union

Many of the events during Freshers’ Week will be held at the Aberystwyth Students Union and so I thought it might be useful to take a look at the above mark for the easiest route to the union from your halls of residence. There are a couple of ways you can take from each halls which are marked, for example you can walk across the bridge from PJM or even cross the road.
You may even want to stop off at the Cwrt Mawr Bar (as shown on the map) before you head to the Union. Sometimes it’s possible to buy a drink in Cwrt Mawr Bar, get a hand stamp and get discount on the entry price to the union.
To gain entry to the union you will usually require your student library card, however on your first few nights don’t worry about this until you get your card from the library. Coming up from town? – just ask the Taxi Driver to drop you off at the Student Union.
