Klip Joint Barbers Old St Mellons
Although Klip Joint Barbers has been based in Old St Mellons (Cardiff) for a few years, only yesterday did I decide to go and try them out. I knew they were there but after walking past I never took much notice of it, I think it’s because it’s set on Church Lane, (just off of Newport Road), quite set back in a small unit had always put me off.
After visiting the Old St Mellons Fete a few weeks ago I noticed that the barbers had a stand offering free haircuts (small donation in return) and it didn’t look as bad as I first thought. I was only looking for a trim so didn’t benefit from all of the fancy stuff in the slideshow above, however the cut was good. The only thing I would say is that the assistant stood really close to where I was having my hair cut which made me feel a little uncomfortable.
They currently have plans to move to bigger premises where the old post office used to be in Old St Mellons. Hopefully giving them a more visual display along the main road.
