Aberystwyth Enterprise Goes Online
The Commercialisation & Consultancy Services Department at Aberystwyth University has recently launched their new website. The new website makes it clearer to businesses, staff and students of the support that there is for them as well as providing an excellent hub for promoting the good work that has be achieved on past projects.
Up until now, candidates wishing to participate in any guest speakers or events would have to either phone or email in their interest but now people can simply book their places online… a simple but effective way to manage the amount of people interested but also keeping them informed.
One of the reasons why I’m writing this article is to help promote the website, as like any other you may have a fantastic online tool but unless anyone knows about it, it won’t be useful. This just another example of how the University is becoming enterprising and is recognising the effort and resources needed to create an online presence as so many people actively use the internet for everything in their daily lives. What’s next for the University, perhaps an iPhone app?
