Aberystwyth University Sustainability
Everything these days is about recycling and sustainability and as such Aberystwyth University’s catering facilities uses food such as meat and vegetables that they have personally growth through the University’s Farms. Although I’m almost certain that they are careful in the quantities that they produce so not to waste anything I still think it would be brilliant that if they did have a surplus then they should donate it to the local homeless shelter in Aberystwyth.
I have personally donated tins and even fresh sandwiches to the shelter but think it would even be better if ‘Fresh’ ‘Local’ produce was donated. This would surely help the town and university to continue their sustainability drive.
