I’m writing this article for current and new students to the University who are in need of a job in Aberystwyth.
The university offers a careers centre of advice called ‘Job Link’, which is located in the Union building next to the student shop.
Job Link can help you with career advice and can even check your CV before you send it off to businesses. They can also help you search for a job here.
You don’t have to go to Job Link to search for a job, they have their own webpage on the University website. Just search for Job Link Aberystwyth in Google J
On the website you can search for jobs offered by the University or local businesses. The entries will explain how to apply for the individual jobs.
Notes:
You can use Job Link to find year out placements (year in industry), Yes Placements etc.
Get them to check your CV for errors and advice before submitting your CV off to businesses.
Don’t forget you can drop your CV into businesses in Aberystwyth too.
