University Internet Taken out by Power-Cut

Now to follow on from yesterday’s power-cut, the affects were still being felt the following day.
I woke up early on this Saturday morning to go to the computer room on campus to finish off my online referencing amongst other online activities.
I drove all the way up to Pentre Jane Morgan computer room to find that of course not one computer or internet was working.
Now I know what you’re thinking, computers should still load up as the power is back on, however multiple errors preventing the screens to even turn on had occurred. Likely because of the network being down?
I tried logging onto University webmail from my phone and that didn’t work so thought I’d leave walking to the library until later on this evening.
I did over hear a radio transmission to someone that worked at the University to say that all computers were down and that they would be back up sometime in the afternoon.
