HP Customer Service Review – Slow and unhelpful
I have had my laptop about a year when I had a problem with my DVD RW drive, it just doesn’t seem to want to work anymore.
So, although it was just out of its 12 months warranty I contacted HP UK to see if they could help.
I stated the problem and asked whether they could give me a serial number and part code to see if I could get a new one…well they didn’t want to hand it over.
After this I decided that this should be taken further, although out of warranty, there’s no way that the dvd drive should stop working! – I have had drives that have lasted years and years but not this one.
I then sent a massive complaint e-mail to HP stating that I believe the laptop wasn’t fit for purpose and that you expect technology to last a lot longer than this.
I was then given a case number and that I would be contacted within 5 business days… needless to say that this was on the 7th August and it’s now nearly a month later.
This customer service is outrageous, I have e-mailed them over the last few weeks to see what’s going on, they have then told me sorry for the delay I have sent a remind… but still, weeks on from that, still nothing,
No response or anything!
I won’t be buying a HP laptop from them again or getting into their customer service!
