The Narrowing price between Petrol & Diesel
I was just reading over an article on Tutor2u with regards to the price of petrol and diesel. It talks about how there’s a narrowing price between the both at the moment.
You may have even noticed this yourself on the forecourts of petrol garages across the country.
The price of Petrol per Litre is catching up with the Price of Diesel.
Apparently, it says in this article:

That the reason for this is because there’s large amounts of Diesel on the international trading market for fuel and so because there’s perhaps more supply than demand for it, it’s purchasing the price of Diesel down or stabilising it (fixed’ish) whilst the demand for petrol is always stronger than Diesel and so as demand outstrips supply and the supply of petrol is restricted it’s pushing up the price of petrol.
The question is, if this continues will people being opting for Diesel cards over petrol run vehicles where they get more miles per gallon on average from Diesel?
